Germany is expecting large protest actions in Hamburg in connection with G20 summit to be held later this week.

The security forces expect that 8,000 people will be involved in the protest actions, German internal minister Thomas de Maiziere said.

Around 20 thousand police officers will be following the situation in Hamburg during the summit.
