Valerie Bertinelli’s son has family roots in his latest tour stop.
On Wednesday, May 14, the celebrity chef, 65, shared a photo of Wolfgang Van Halen, 34, onstage with his band, Mammoth WFH, in Scranton, Pa.
“Lackawanna County is where Wolfie’s great great grandmother settled when she came here from Italy in 1915 and now look at him,” Bertinelli wrote on her Instagram Stories. “She would be so proud.”
The Food Network alum also tagged her brother, Patrick Bertinelli.

Wolfgang’s father is late Van Halen frontman Eddie Van Halen, to whom Bertinelli was married from 1981 until 2007. Eddie died from cancer in October 2020.

In the video, Wolfgang performs for a club filled with zombies and vampires, and his mom gets in on the action to fight the creatures.
Bertinelli opened up about her appearance — during which she experienced a first — in an Instagram post on May 3.
“A ridiculous amount of fun was had for two days,” she wrote, praising Robert Rodriguez, who directed the video.
“His passion and joy for his craft is truly contagious,” she added. “And thank you, Robert for the lesson on how to throw a punch on camera. 👊🏼 I can’t believe after all these years I’ve never done that. So much f---ing fun!”
