TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Flamenco music and dance take center stage at the Topeka and Shawnee Co. Public Library this weekend.
“Dia” is a celebration to connect families and cultures.
TSCPL’s Judy Espinosa-Gonzalez and Jayna McFarland visited Eye on NE Kansas to share what’s planned.
The Kansas City-based group 45 Grados Flamenco will perform live. People can watch the dancing and listen to the music as the performers explore flamenco’s history and its connections to Spain, Mexico and Cuba.
Dia runs 10:30 a.m. to Noon, Saturday, May 3 at the Topeka & Shawnee Co. Public Library.
