Police nabbed two people with fake currency notes amounting to around Tk 52 thousand from Nonadanga area of Karapara in Bagerhat on Saturday.
The detainees are Masum Billah and Uttam Gain.
Bagerhat Sadar Model Thana Officer-in-Charge M Saidur Rahman said, “Acting on a tip-off, police personnel of Bagerhat Sadar Model Thana nabbed two people with fake currency and two mobile handsets. The detainees were sent to court as a case was filed against them in this connection.”
